Alexandra Truck Rod and Ute Show 2019.

For the Queens Birthday weekend, Kaye and I decided to travel to Alexandra for the show. We left home on Saturday morning and meet a group of friends in Alex before cruising to Eildon for Lunch. A quiet afternoon including a quick clean of the 57 was followed by a bonfire with the friends that we stayed with.

Sunday started off very cold but the fog cleared and the sun provided some warmth as the day progressed. With an early start and cars being parked in a different part of the street, our 57 was parked in a prime position. A short time later Ross Anderson arrived after an early start from home.

There were several other Chevs there, the white one being a fuel injected car.

The awards were handed out after a public auction which saw 40 items sold to an enthusiastic group.

In the Rod and Custom category there were Top 5 awarded with Ross and our cars getting awards. There was also one awarded to a 55 Chev pickup.
